Notice to Members: ORIC-initiated Rule Book changes
Ballardong Aboriginal Corporation advises members that the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC) has made changes to BAC’s Rule Book. These changes took effect on 23 September 2026.
The updated Rule Book includes changes to Director eligibility and appointment arrangements. It distinguishes mandatory eligibility requirements from desirable skills and attributes and requires reasons to be provided when nominees are assessed as ineligible.
BAC has updated its election documentation to reflect these changes.
