2026 Cultural Advice Committee election — nominations open 30 September
Ballardong Aboriginal Corporation is seeking nominations for three Cultural Advice Committee positions: two Noongar women and one Noongar man, for three-year terms. Nominations open at 9.00am on Wednesday 30 September 2026 and close at 4.00pm on Wednesday 21 October 2026.
The CAC provides cultural advice about Ballardong Country, culture and cultural responsibilities. BAC encourages respected Noongar Elders with cultural knowledge and authority to consider nominating. Director or Board experience is not required.
Nominees must be BAC members and meet the eligibility requirements in the election notice and nomination information.
Completed nominations must be lodged directly with the independent Returning Officer, Shawn Boyle, using the instructions in the nomination package. Late nominations cannot be accepted.
If a ballot is required, election packages are scheduled to be sent to eligible members on Friday 6 November. Completed postal ballots must reach the Returning Officer by 4.00pm on Friday 4 December 2026.
The electoral roll closes on Wednesday 30 September 2026. Please ensure BAC has your current postal address and contact details.
