ANOTHER ORIC-initiated Rule Book Change
Update: further ORIC-initiated Rule Book change—6 October 2026
Ballardong Aboriginal Corporation advises members that ORIC has registered a further correction to BAC’s Rule Book, effective 6 October 2026.
The correction reinstates rule 8.4—Term of Appointment, which ORIC identified had been omitted from the version registered on 23 September 2026. This rule deals with directors’ terms of appointment.
The Rule Book registered on 6 October 2026 replaces the September version and is now the current Rule Book.
The earlier September changes addressed Director eligibility and appointment arrangements, including the distinction between mandatory eligibility requirements and desirable skills and attributes, and the requirement to provide reasons when nominees are assessed as ineligible. BAC updated its election documentation to reflect those changes.
