Senior Heritage Officer vacancies

The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage has advertised careers in Aboriginal heritage, with multiple Senior Heritage Officer vacancies.

Permanent positions are based in Kimberley (Broome or Kununurra), Pilbara (Karatha), Goldfields (Kalgoorlie), Mid-West (Grafton) and South-West (Bunbury or Albany).

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of cultural heritage.

  • Demonstrated experience in understanding, interpreting, and applying heritage legislation.

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills demonstrating ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.
