Employment opportunities at Department of Communities

Department of Communities are looking for a number of people to join the Family and Domestic Violence Response Teams (FDVRT).

The FDVRT model is a partnership between the Department of Communities, Western Australia Police Force and community sector family and domestic violence services, and is considered to be the state's frontline response to family and domestic violence. 

Family Support Worker
Level 5, $96,307 - $105,254 pa + Super - PSCSAA 2022

Family Support Coordinator
Level 6, $110,309 - $121,569 pa + Super - PSCSAA 2022

These roles work together to provide intensive intervention, safety planning and support for families and individuals who are considered at highest risk of high harm from family and domestic violence.

There are numerous newly created permanent full-time opportunities in the Perth metropolitan area (Perth, Midland, Mirrabooka and Joondalup) and the Great Southern, Wheatbelt and Southwest regions.
