Study opportunity for Aboriginal students
Application dates have been extended for the North Metropolitan TAFE Koomba Birdal program, which provides free supportive education pathways for Aboriginal students to pursue further study and gain employment.
The program is open for Aboriginal students over 15, and there is no upper age limit. Abstudy will cover the costs of fees and can cover accommodation at IYMP Perth for applicants outside of the metro area.
Available courses include: Certificate II level study in Construction Pathways, Automotive Servicing (pre-apprenticeship), Creative Industries, Rail Infrastructure, Applied Digital Technologies, and Health Support Services.
Students are supported by an Indigenous mentor and Indigenous career advisors during and after the program.
