New partnership with Carbon Positive Australia

Ballardong Aboriginal Corporation and Carbon Positive Australia have established a long-term partnership to care for and restore the ecosystem of Ballardong Boodja.

Carbon Positive Australia have demonstrated their strong commitment to recognition and respect for Ballardong People’s ownership of their boodja, and for the principles of ongoing free, prior, and informed consent and shared decision-making.

This MoU sets the standard for what respectful partnership looks like and we look forward to a long and productive partnership.

Ballardong Rangers joined CPA’s Regional Restoration Team at their Talbot site for a day of tree planting to mark the start of a long-term relationship based on two-way learning approach and the principles of free, prior, and informed consent.

This relationship is one more way that BAC is working to protect and heal Ballardong Boodja, and to build a more sustainable future for our mob.
