Happy International Women's Day

Happy International Women's Day to all our deadly Noongar Yorgas.

In the lead up to International Women's Day, our Ballardong Marlak Rangers women's team have come together to clean a very Important heritage site in the Ballardong region.

Our rangers were asked by a Ballardong elder to clean a birthing site, a place where some of our past elders took their first breath, and some took their last. These spots are very significant and important to our people.

It was also an opportunity to connect as Noongar women across generations, to learn our elders' stories. Many more sites like this will be protected and maintained by us and the next generations to come
