The Ballardong Aboriginal Corporation ICN 9605 (BAC) is a newly created corporation and represents the traditional owners of the Ballardong region of the south west of Western Australia.

BAC works to manage native title benefits, while also advancing and strengthening Noongar culture, language, heritage, and society.

The BAC has an important role in the South West Native Title Settlement with the WA Government. The Settlement resolves all native title claims in the southwest of the state in exchange for around $1.3 billion in land and other benefits for the Noongar people.


Membership Engagement Officer

  • 6 month fixed term contract 

  • Salary of $90,000, per annum + superannuation.  

  • Salary packaging (up to $15,899 a year, + meal/entertainment benefit of $2,650 a year).  

  • 5 weeks annual leave per year + 17.5% Leave Loading. 

  • 10 days Noongar Cultural Leave per annum. 

  • 5 days Compassionate Leave per occasion.  

  • Employee Assistance Program. 

  • Perth or Northam location

The role 

In this role, you will travel throughout Ballardong country to meet individual members and potential members. This role will see you engage with the broader community and service providers and facilitate community meetings with community.
